NightMare
Nightmare
This twisted, horrible dream that you can’t seem to wake up from. A dream that haunts the living, and awakes the dead. As the dream comes closer, it begins to reach out its hand to you. And the minute it has your hand, death stalks your soul, making it harder to edge away from it. The clamp on your wrist tightens, and you begin to get short of breath, it’s not death, its life. And once you lay in your casket, then and only then, you have time to think about how your life was crippled and broken by the stalk of the sky so blue it matches your dead heart. As the air is beginning to be sucked out of your lungs, you try to scream. But your mouth is taped shut, leaving you from the rest of the world. And as death slowly creeps closer to your ear, you are chained down to the hard earth. Enslaved by the planet that once gave you happiness, now gives you hatred.
