Black tears
Slams door.
Throws new white cashmere coat on the ground,
And grabs the bottle of champagne she bought for them both to share.
Sitting there with no glass just the bottle in her hands,
And a box of heart shape chocolates.
Puts in movie.
“Breakfast at Tiffany’s” watching but not listening,
Only crying black tears as her make-up fades,
But still she was beautiful.
Her black satin dress was the only sparkle she had left that was close to her heart
Her beautiful golden brown locks still perfectly curled,
But it didn’t matter anymore.
She could care less about her hair,
It was what she was feeling inside that mattered.
She wanted her heart to be filled back with love again not emptiness.
Finishing the bottle she stumbles into the kitchen to grab another.
She knew that it would be a mistake,
But she needed some sort of comfort,
Something to help her forget about him.
Her legs straining to keep balance still walking in her Jimmy-Choo stilettos.
The table shakes as her phone receives a message.
It says to look outside.
Standing in the rain, wearing just a shirt, some old ripped jeans
And an apology waiting to be forgiven
She ran outside placing her arms around his wet shirt and kissing him as her black tears disappeared from her face
