For Daddy...
I won’t let myself forget,
The hurt in his eyes.
When I revealed the hatred,
That had boiled up- so long.
Those words trained for his ears,
Were not meant for him to hear.
Because I would never wish harm to anyone,
Even if they doomed my existence so many times.
Yet he walks slowly,
Silent ‘til death,
And the last words from his daughter
Are the words…
I hate you.
