Release
Can a man not express
What love is to him?
Not tell of his travels,
His love or his sin?
Cannot the man come,
Let his mind spill out?
His emotions released,
His pen as his spout?
His tales of his times
Bring him back many things,
If he cannot share them,
What point is their being?
Confession is not
Where a man should let go,
Let your tongue be silent,
Let pen and ink flow.
A poet's words are sacred
To him and no one more,
For if a man can write,
Wide open is Life's door.
