The Love Poem
His hair curly, brown, and soft,
Eyes warm and inviting,
He has stolen my heart, and there’s no use in fighting.
His smile seductive and sweet,
I know he’s worth my while,
Someday it will be me and him, walking down the aisle.
When our eyes meet my stomach is in knots,
I can feel my insides doing flip-flops,
How is it, that one can be, so courageous and carefree.
He is supportive when I’m mad,
He is my comfort when I’m sad,
The one I confide in when the truth hurts so bad.
