Too Much ,Yet Not Enough
I've fallen for you
For you voice
And for your gentle touch
But I noticed
I scraped my knee
And now you will not help me up
I am drowning in you
In your embrace
And your love
But I never learned
How to swim, you see
And you won't give me a hand
I am afraid of you
No, not you
Just of losing you
But I was told every girl
Deserves a good boy
But it may have been a lie
Because I was told those too
And now I know I need you
Like the air I breathe
One could not imagine
living on anything else
And you can feel my love
Even if we are apart
But its all too much
I love you too much
And you love me not enough
So now you want to quit
You take back your letters
and whispers of " I Love You"
And trade it for "goodbye"
