In everyday life I gaze upon you for ideas
Notice that as these days progress I find myself farther then where I was the day before
Some days when I just cannot seem to function
Pictures of our past spread across my mind
It’s my only connection between the two of us now
Reliving every moment I spent with you
And how perfect it all used to be
Today, the two of us are simply dust
I would give anything to earn you back
On the day I finally do
Never will I let go of my inspiration again
