Hidden

He's burning, he's drowning
he's crying, he's laughing.
They say they care,
they swear they're there
but no one sees the hidden.
From the world he is forbidden.
Alone he holds on,
to a hope that's almost gone.
Losing himself in the lies,
pretending that everything will be alright.
He crawls along trying to survive.
But why, why does he struggle on in life?
Slowly he slips away,
breaking apart more and more each day.
