What’s done is done
There’s no way to take it back
No way to erase it
No way to turn back time
But many ways to move on

You’re holding on to it
That anger that should be gone
Why won’t you let it go?
What’s done is done
Why don’t you leave it alone?

Let it be
You’re just wasting time
While everyone is living life
You’re dwelling, holding a grudge
As if that’ll make it go away
It’ll never go away
But the anger can
All you have to do is set it free
Leave it alone
Let it be

this can be about lots of things but the main idea is about letting go of a grudge and past pain and moving forward
