Reaching,
My hands
Into the air

. . . Straining

Almost there,
A little more,

Needing,
To touch
The sky

. . . Engulfing

Be tall
As can be

Balancing
On toes,
Tasting
The wind

. . . Invigorating

So close,
Be patient now

The tips
Of clouds
Brushing
My fingertips


. . . Staggering

Any minute,
Keep trying

Stroking,
The azure sky
