Death's Path
My darkness turns to light,
I am no longer bound,
I have found my sun,
I was found.
He came to me in the night,
where darkness is my other half.
He told me he was Death,
and i was to join his moonlit path.
We walked along a journey,
my old laughs and cries passing by,
I see my mistakes and achievments-
am I really ready to die?
If i go back now, will my life improve?
It wont; therefore, I am scared,
I take Death's hand and run,
I go to those Pearly Gates, for i have finally dared.
