Silence is LOUD
Silence is Loud.
It is silent.
Nothing but silence.
It is so loud, yet so quiet.
Silence.
A beat...
BUM....
BUM...
BUM...
It starts.
The silence is ended.
The bass drum, then the tom tom, then the symbols.
BUM... chat... BUM BUM... chat...
Boom, boooom. Boom. Boom boom.
Another voice joins the beat.
A bass guitar, it adds to the beat, filling in the silence.
The beat is catchy.
You nod your head and tap your foot
putting hardly any effort to it.
Twang, twangy.... Twang... Twang twang.
Another voice! The melody is so sweet.
The guitar follows the group,
and the beat.
When you think that it can’t get any better,
another voice is added.
A real voice.
She sing loudly,
her voice traveling far across the range.
Every note is hit with great care,
the sound rings out.
Then another voice is added.
Actually, several voices.
Hundreds, thousands, millions.
The crowds claps, they cheer.
The scream and holler happy with the performance.
The silence and emptiness is now filled.
There is no need to be silent.
Just be loud.
