Who would want to know?
A pining need for worship
Still lingers on my lips
The words we left
unsaid swaying with my hips
Your Philanthropy
My greed
Planted a notion
A tree became a seed
Ineffably we sparkle
Aspire to something we're not
We try to shake this feeling that
some how we've been caught
But all along we're dying
And just trying not to show
'cause all we ever seem to think is
Who would want to know?
