Love/Hate
Religiously and faithfully
 I complete my daily ritual
No thoughts of life or vanity
 My feelings, pure, weren’t mutual
You tossed me aside, so casually
We still butt heads, a lover’s duel

I place the blame, on me alone
I will not try, you won’t atone
 For your misdeeds, so childish
Talking about me, I only wish
That was all you did behind my back
I lied to you? Is that a fact?

 My honesty
 Surprised even me
I only wish that you could care
And that with your feelings, you could share
Don’t give me that, your angry stare
As if my words aren’t true and fair
