Hold your breath and wait for applause
nothing comes but quiet
bow your head and glare at the crowd
but no one's there
the theatre's gone
confusion grabs hold of your mind
headache pounding in your skull
gasp for air but none is there
reach for support but fall instead
claw for save but tumble faster
call for help but make no sound
you're drowning
in nothing
from nothing
You’re nothing.
