My Cure

He smiles that smile,
Eyes deep and true.
His hand in mine,
My heart sank too.
As we walk together,
The world around us changes.
The day grows brighter,
The sounds fade.
Soon all there is,
Is him and me,
Looking out across the sea.
His arms around me,
Driving away the cold.
This peace makes me see.
Makes my mind unfold.
No longer afraid,
No longer unsure.
For it is you,
You are my cure.
Hold me now and forever more.
This love, this happiness,
This is what makes me sure.
