The run that won
Thinking...
Believing he has won before the game has ended.
Winding up, barley even trying.
Throwing the pitch,
My anger taking over me,
I swung with all my might, but without aim or accuracy
Strike 1!
Disbelief spreading through me,
Stepping back up to the plate,
Thinking that was a step-back in my progress
Strike 2!
Dread was all I felt,
not believing I could do this,
The last pitch was coming strait towards me
Despair was all I felt
One last Swing was taken
CRACK!!!
The ball went soaring...
over the fence
Remembering to run...
Cheering...
Running...
Finally winning the game.
