Meteor Shower
A black canvas overhead,
As I lie and dream to myself,
And I see the tears of the stars
Racing each other across the
Emptiness that is somehow full
Years are seconds,
Over in the blink of an eye as the
Universe seems to move around me
Here I lay, here I lie
And realize that,
Perhaps for the fist time,
Perhaps for the last,
Youth and age are one.
