Two Words; Thank You
Two words,
What's wrong?
I bare my soul to you
over the phone
in the small hours
of the night.
Two words,
Guess who!
We play like children,
hiding and seeking
precious snacks
from little siblings.
Two words,
So long!
I wave goodbye
as you drive off,
two dogs
kissing you frantically
with wet tongues.
Two words,
Thank you.
For being the brother
who welcomes me
with open arms
always ready
to pull me close.
