The Pessimistic Side
In my eyes, light diminishes.
Blackness ensues; as black as night.
How disheartening, the words escape me.
I've had enough!
Fatigued and weary from the plunge, I reach out for faith.
To my dismay, you shun my supplication for salvation; I am lost.
Life isn't unfair, but disingenuous.
There is never an easy answer to the internal pain.
Never an answer to handling what's in life's existence.
A path to extinction?
I refuse to give in.
To prevail for others?
I begin to become obscure.
Living torture, in a sense.
What is there to live for, when the darkness that plagues my eyes portrays the truth?
