times like these
when i write so urgently
forgetting
missing to edit
hand shakes
for tension
braking lead
to hurry
hurry
before it fades
before the pain recedes
tears
paint this picture beautiful
the heart wrung
drips honey
you keep telling me
so i'm trying
to hold my breath
to hold still
to hold on
to finish
