Finely Woven Downfall

Threads and downy cloth suffocate
Enveloping the porous shell in terror
Growing ever stronger and stronger
Power gained from each glimmering sweat.
Fabric of all shapes and colors
Serene cerulean or tumultuous turquoise
Frayed of strands or uniform of texture
Seep inward without remorse.
The threads overtake all
Saving none but their counterparts
Those spies buried within the being
Sharing their same shallow-hearted plans.
