Building Blocks
slipping through the cracks
of everyday sidewalks
i'm falling into our
Earth.
trying to get a grip
on the roots
of the plants-
now dead-
beneath your new skyscaper.
modern cars weezing out
the begining of our demise,
grey
exhust blending in with our rain clouds.
so i wonder if people know
that they're poisoning their air.
i prey that god is frowning
down apon us.
because maybe then
someone would take action.
our co-exsietence is a treaty
that has lasted millions of years,
so why must we test its boundries?
tell me,
what came first,
the green or the grey?
