My skin, glowing warm, tingles with
The icy freshness – rejuvenated after this
Lifelessness. Once listless, my fingers
Now tense with excitement.

I spur into motion - feet dancing,
Heart singing tuneless melodies into the deserted meadow
A book in hand, or a pencil maybe
I remember…
