I am a person
Although I'm not perfect
I make mistakes
As humans often do
I cry
I sigh
And eventually
I'll grow old and die
I fall sometimes
When the road gets steep
I smile
I learn
I laugh and weep
I see the world
Through my own eyes
You can not treat me
