Watching our Parents
I watched the rain.
It seemed the sky
was making love
to mother Earth.
Rocking clouds body,
through thunderous
moans and shrieks of
lightning.
The rain was warm and
gentle though, not the crying,
angry cold f***s of winter
and fall.
I watched, as mutual benefit
was reached.
In front of me, like eyes through
a keyhole, new life was made
