Up in Smoke
Up in Smoke
Is it the stress? The pressure? Is it cool? As I wonder these things I begin to look up at the strange rings above me. As I watch each ring dissipate in the air, I see things go with them. Colleges, sports, money, relationships all fade into the air with these rings. I look around me now. I see others laughing and joking about obscure topics. They seem so happy. But I don’t feel as they do. I want the things that faded with the smokey rings above me. Why do they call this high when it makes me feel so low?
