A best friend is there from the very start
Will be there for you even when you’re apart
When the tears start pouring down like rain
A best friend will be there to halt all the pain.
Even when your moments are cheerful as daylight
A best friend can still find a way to make things right.
When things take its course in life for the worst
You know that your best friend is the one you call first.
Through thick and thin, black and white
You should know that best friend will tag along
Day and night
