True Love
Beauty is the sun on your skin
The wind in your hair
It is the whisper you hear
While lying in the grass
Beauty is the rusty old pick-up
With an old stereo
Singing as loud as possible
Not caring who hears
Beauty is dancing in the rain
With your best shoes on
Knowing what your mom will say
But doing it anyways
Beauty is watching the sunrise
Through the open window
And coming home after a long day
And watching the sunset into another chance
Beauty is when everything is messed up
You keep pushing forward
Because you know how to win against life
You just haven’t tried
Beauty is the sun on your skin
The wind in your hair
The whisper you hear
Saying you’re safe now
