I see the joyous
familly's smiles
reflecting off my
fragile
shining surface.

My friends
hanging close
all observe the opening
of brightly wrapped
gifts under
us.

I treasure this scene,
when I can
once a year.

The tree we hang
off, smelling
sweetly
of the outside
winter wonderland
alien to us.
