The feeling of your fingers
running across the keys
letting your heart flow
with openness
letting the music fly out
of your soul
bringing the world to life
bringing happiness to all around you
the feel of it lifts your spirit
the sound makes you forget
for a minute
the world that we live in
the troubles that we are facing
the mistakes that we are making
it all seems to go away
when you hear
that beautiful music
coming from
the tips of your fingers.

This poem means alot to me because I am taking piano lessons and the feel really makes you feel free.

this is great! this is how my sister feel when she plays. this is how music makes me feel. i'll have to have my sister read it . i'm sure she'll love it . great job!!!!!

OH. MY. GOSH. So true! Music can take you anywhere! Whether you're making it or not, it doesn't matter. Really really awesome job, veggiegirl! :D Have you ever heard of David Nevue? He's got some great piano music...
