I Wonder
find a blanket
 i can't see through
and put it over my head

so you can cut off my fingers
 i know i won't feel it
 unless i can see it

 put lead in my pockets
 and in my shoes
 i won't leave here

 i can still laugh until

 you sew my lips together
 tie my thoughts in knots
 i have no opinions

 i can still live until

you drain the blood from my body
let me lie here with no vitality
 i'm not dead or dying

 lock me in a closet
 and hide the key
 under my own welcome mat

cover me in lies and deceptions
from here i have no choice
 but to wonder

 i can still love
 and there's nothing you
 can do about it
