Imagery
Imagery is like a flower,
It’s not practical,
It’s not needed,
But it makes the world a more beautiful place
Some people don’t care for flowers,
They are those who
See the glass as half empty,
They do not see the sunset,
And they scoff at the brilliant colors of the world
Imagine a world without imagination,
Without the simple poetry of life,
It would be a dull place indeed
Imagery takes you to another place
Where imagination runs free,
A place that sentimentality is practicality,
It is needed
You see it in your mind’s eye,
A land full of opportunities,
A swirling mass of color,
Just waiting for the artist’s stroke
To bring it alive
