Another Day
I sit down to his warm face.
We greet each other, talk.
All is normal, just another day.
He lives in my head, is home is in my heart.
His voice, movement, breaths.
They are all too familiar to me.
He makes me smile, I make him laugh.
I can’t help but get lost in his talk.
It is still just another day.
Will our lips ever meet?
Will we always be friends?
I wonder this every day.
We love each other,
But in different ways.
It’s just another day,
Another day spent dancing on the boundaries,
Dancing on the boundaries of love.
