Favorite Quote:
When you long with all your heart for someone to love you, a madness grows there that shakes all sense from the trees and the water and the earth. And nothing lives for you, except the long deep bitter want. And this is what everyone feels from birth to death.

Across the ground,
scattered papers lay.
Folded words of feeling,
yesterday's fears,
yesterday's pains.

The jar lay shattered,
glass and paper mix.
Their words revisited,
exposed and stinging.

This piece is a reflection on a previous poem called Relief. It makes more sense if you've read that one first.
