Rotten
The sun is shining on her skin
Theres beauty in her veins
She has a million creatures within
And they all know shes sane
Fingernails dig a little too deep
To scratch away that itch
Problem is its hard to keep
Her finger off the switch
Self-destruction tempts too much
Its offer of escape too great
All it takes is a simple touch
Far too willing to separate
Into the sky she will fall
Mirage of happiness found
Her name is of no use to call
She will not hear the sound
But this cant last
She will awake
Back in place is her past
Her illusion will break
Death on her face
Skin seeped in sorrow
Dark lines trace
Pictures hollow
She longs for the love forgotten
Little child left alone
Eye sockets rotten
Desperately waiting for her seams to be sown
