And he waits for tomorrow
Days fade into months
Hours on end of waiting
And when it’s here
Time finds a way to disappear
He waits by the door
A glimpse of her is everything and more
His lips inch up into a smile
As her figure appears in the room
Her soft laugh makes the wait worth the while
But the moment leaves as fast as it came
Now all that is left is the view of her back
But his smile stays as he turns away
For tomorrow is a new day
