Angry, crashing swirls of sea.
A tiny boat becomes a victim of the Night.
Men fight against the current with all their will,
calling the names of those who cannot hear them.
Help! they shout.
Can anybody hear us?
Please save us!
Yet help never comes for their cries are unheard.
Sapphire waves engulf the crimson truth.
No one is to know the secrets of the ocean.
The nautical voice; melodic yet so vile.
The calming sound of waves mesh with the
desperate calls for rescue;
The ocean is beautiful no more.
Flashes of white entangle in the madness;
Sea foam innocence.
Triton seizes the men with the strength of the
swelling ocean current.
Beneath the surface rests more evil.
The ocean floor is a lair;
Triton’s humble home of execution.
Beautifully miraculous despite its malevolence.
Bodies scattered randomly, for this is the game.
These men are fighting for their lives;
Yet the game has already been won.
They do not stand a chance.
The men float down to this underworld; helpless.
Triton whispers in their ears; the truths of the sea.
Then there is darkness.
Game over.

And a little jellyfish swims away, grinning,
for he, too, now knows the secrets of the sea.
