Ode to Church
The glorious place
Between God and human race
Where nothing but light
Schines through on your face
The rainbow of colors
On the glass stained windows
The alter, the stage
Where the preacher never stays mellow
His love for God
He wears on his sleeve
You can see it in his eyes
Even though he may sound mean
The choir of voices
Sing heavely songs
As harmonies and melodies form
The place to go in desperate need
Of the same belief
You never know what you might run into
The church is an intersting place
