Favorite Quote:
Can't chose just one, two I love currently are, "People who deny the existence of dragons are often eaten by dragons. From within. " — Ursula K. LeGuin and ""This is the forest primeval. The murmuring pines and the hemlocks, Bearded with moss, and in garments green, indistinct in the twilight, Stand like Druids of eld, with voices sad and phrophetic..." Evangeline by Henry W. Longfellow

Take off your armor,
'Cause your not my knight,
not my hero,
not my saint.

Your a wolf in sheep's clothing,
Your warm eyes, all the better
to take me in,
hold me hostage,
gobble me up.

You say you quest for things beyond yourself,
But all you know is self,
self-pity,
self-hate.

Your no Prince,
Only a frog,
Garden pond-variety,
With a head full of dreams and
cowardice.

We're not a storybook match,
My kiss left you sleeping,
cold-unmoving,
still lifeless.

Moving on is all that's left to do,
Ride on, because we're from
different stories.
Not to fail,
Never regret.

Someday a princess will find you,
Smash your glass case,
of empty words,
and lost causes.

And I will find a frog,
Who I will love for being a frog,
Not for the Prince he may be,
And see he was my Prince from
the start.

But for now,
Take off your armor, 'cause your not my knight.

I know that so far all my poetry has been fairytale based, and I promise that not all of it is, it's just happened this way. This poem is about a guy... enough said.
