The Crazy Zoo
One lovely summer afternoon I visited the zoo
I expected everything the same, but oh, that was not true
The animals were pshycos, very simply put
The happy, bouncing kangaroos were hopping on one foot
The elephants were purple and the polar bears were pink
The rabbits were so smelly and the skunks, they didn't stink
The parakeets were swimming and the penguins flying high
The lions couldn't growl or roar as hard as they did try
The deer were eating chunks of meat, the wolves were eating plants
An anteater munched cookies and a platypus ate ants
The pythons were so furry and the mice showed shiny scales
The tiger and the leopard had lost their long, sleek tails
This zoo is really crazy, definitely out of whack
Unless this zoo changes, I don't think I'm coming back
