Rushing Water
I don’t think I can hold you here much longer, but maybe your faith will keep you here. My links are slipping beneath this rushing water, but maybe your faith will keep your head above. I feel your hands slipping, too. Don’t let go of me, and I won’t let go of you. Or maybe, just maybe, your faith will do that, too. Keep you from slipping, keep you from drowning: all with the same two hands.
What do I know?
I’m just a chain, but right now I’m all that you’ve got, your faith and me. So, like I said: don’t let go.
