White Truck
They all warned her not to do it,
But as he rode in, in his white truck
 and stole her heart,
She found herself loving him anyway.

They all said she was crazy
They couldn’t see what he did,
They didn’t know what he said,
 And she loved him.

They spread rumors and told lies,
 Anything to keep them apart
 But nothing could touch her
 Because she loved him.

 And then he left her
 For one of them
 Made her hurt so bad
 But she still loved him.

 Nobody comforts her
Since they were against it from the start
They were right and they taunt her
 Because she loved him.

Now every time she sees a white truck
 She thinks of him
 And her heart aches
Because, yes, she still loves him.
