A voice is like
The thunder to lightning,
The crackle to fire.
A voice can be
Thousands of lies
Simply wrapped in desire.
The sound is definite,
The image is an illusion.
The melody to your sheet music,
Your own twisted delusion.
So close your eyes,
The truth matters not
For I've remembered the whisper
And the eyes, I forgot.
