Crinkled
Crinkled
Like an old piece of paper
Crumpled into a tiny wad
Of wothless nothingness
Printed
On the inside
Words that told you
Just how I felt
Words and nothing less
Numerical codes accompany
The words
Listing all the reasons
I love you
1 is for your humor
And the way you make me laugh
2 is for your smile
And how it makes me blush
3 is for your presence
And the way it makes me stutter
4 is for your eyes
And how lost I become when you stare
I could list the reasons again
But it wouldn't be the same
No matter how many times
I tell you the truth,
You'll crumple up
My words
And never read then again,
But you'll recycle me,
As I knew you would,
And my words will sit
And wait
Crinkled
Like an old piece of paper
Thrown in a recycling bin
Hoping to be found
And applied
To someone
New
