Tonight
All but a breath,
soft tears and sound,
nigh, though by fear,
sleep be unfound.
Upon a bed, sweet ice;
cold in despair,
young voices unbroken,
hope through a prayer.
False beauty, and pain,
in the night alone,
all but told lies,
and truth be unknown.
Amid the darkness
thoughts claim flight,
upon a pillow rest,
finding no peace tonight.

This is really beautiful and a great example of how rhyming can be used correctly and beautifully in order to help the flow and have more of an emotional punch. I really enjoyed this, very unique style.
If you ever get the opportunity, check out my work! Thanks!
