Broken Doll
I try to deny it
The lies you said
Promises that you didn’t keep
Tears roll down
A broken doll cries
Once loved now forgotten
Sorrow fills the air
As it’s tune flies
Spirits dance among their graves
A Shattered mirror shows
A Shattered heart
That belonged to a broken doll
She was left alone
No one cared to find her
No one cared to love her
That broken doll is me
The one who loved you
The one you left behind
The one you lied to
The one you led on
The one you deceived
The one you pretended to love
The one you left broken
The heart you shattered was mine
I pretend everything’s okay
Even when it’s not
The broken mirror never shows
What could be
It always shows what has to be
Nothing that it could be
