Better Than None
As soon as I bend, I break
your harsh words weaken me
creating tears, for that shouldn't be forgiven
but I forgive you so.
You seek my love
dare love someone else, you have
preparing to deny you once more, I cannot
for you in my life is a blessing, I must savor.
Guilt eats away at your soul
confusion engulfs your mind
but your heart is whole
with the love for two.
You try to ignore the feelings we share
few memories together, you remember
you cannot ignore, just as I cannot
we suffer together, because we're apart.
Be with me, my friend
be with her, your love
be yourself and be loved by both
'cause both is better than none.
