Harmony Catchers
Sweet summer dew beneath your bare feet
tear drops resting on oh so green and oh so thick grass
Waterfall into water glass, wake up mid morning
Undeniable thirst
You cannot ignore it
The hunger in your stomach for desire
endless dreamer
sweet tooth for temptation gets you into trouble,
Troublemakers;
we walk with wonder and live in the moment,
capture harmony in time,
we catch it in the air,
reaching out and grabbing our contentment,
no longer do we wait for it,
we make it,
Distilling the silence rather than patient breaks from pleasure,
because we don’t stop,
won’t stop.
We are our own dream catchers
Cupping them like butterflies between our clenched hands,
Leaving room for them to breathe,
We won’t suffocate them this time.
