Details MAG
It's funny how different things look from up here.
 How obvious life's answers are.
How easy the solutions are to what truly are petty problems
in the grand scheme of things.

 Everything seemed so important,
 detrimental even,
 When I lived down there.

 How foggy they are!
 How cloudy their vision is!
They fret over such trivial matters
as the color of their shirt
or the curtains matching the carpet.

They miss all the things that are truly important.
They miss the details that truly count.
 The details
 the red of a rose
or the rose in their beloved's cheek.

 They no longer notice
the brown of a tree's bark,
or the changing hue of an evening sky.

 Instead, their eyes stay glued
 to a television screen,
or their noses stay glued to a tabloid,
rather than gluing their eyes to another's
or their nose to a rose.

 The details do not matter
Not the ones that truly count.
